About Us

In the Beginning:

Ms. La Voy's Vision was to purchase a building and to house women who were in need of deliverance from drugs, alcohol, homelessness and hopelessness.  She purchased the building in August of 2011.  The building was big enough to house the women and in addition it could also support 2 small women's businesses and a corner store (Miracles To Go) which would serve the purpose of bringing in revenue and on-the-job-training for the women in the program.  Renovation began on the building right away and was completed the following year in February when the first group of women entered the program.

We're finally a 501(c)(3) organization:

After 2 years of working diligently on our documentation, we have finally gotten our 501(c)(3) status.  We have operated on personal finances and that of specific donors while waiting on our status.  We are now looking to acquire monthly partners, donors and sponsors along with various grants to help these women to successful go through the program.
